Tips To Get Started Writing Keyword Sensitive Articles

Posted by Buzzdeep in Article Marketing

To write keyword articles a good place to start is simply by knowing your topic well; if you are writing the keyword articles for your own business or field of expertise that may be quite straightforward. If you are writing about a subject that you are unfamiliar with there are tips that you can use to get started. There are also some simple tips that you can follow to produce good quality keyword articles.

To start with lets look at writing for a subject you are unfamiliar with. The key to this is to start out by getting a feel for the subject. Quite simply, read a lot. The more you can read the greater your level of understanding will be about the subject that you are focusing on. When you are on track with the subject, try making a few notes on the buzz words or keywords, for the particular subject of interest.

As an example, if you are going to write about internet marketing then you would want to know a bit about SEO, web 2.0 and web site linking to get started. Basically if you read and become aware of the main catch phrases around any given industry, then the chances are you are well on your way to writing articles that effectively incorporate these key words.

The next tip is to start writing the article. Dont worry at this stage about the keywords, simply write the article in a concise and articulate manner. This provides you with a quality article that is interesting to the reader, not just a piece of work that incorporates a number of keywords that are attractive to search engines. When you have done this then you are ready to start considering how your keywords fit in with the subject you have written about.

The next thing that you need to look at is the popularity of the keywords that you have selected here. There are tools that can help you evaluate search engine trends as well as the word searches that are conducted. What you are looking for is more highly targeted searches, with phrases of 2 or more keywords that are the most popular for the subject that you are writing about. When you have identified these then you are ready to make sure that they can be found in your article.

A tip for putting keywords into you article is to firstly identify the most relevant keywords or key phrases, and then include them in a natural way in your article. This is why it is worthwhile writing the article first without thinking about them. You will now probably find as you read through what you have written your article in such a way that there are natural places where you have included the keywords without purposefully doing so. To increase the regularity with which these occur, you can now go through and find similar words and change to your selected keywords, without changing the overall appeal for the reader.

Lastly, two important tips are to proofread and write a keyword rich headline. When you have changed the original words that you used in your first article draft and when you have incorporated keyword, it is likely that you have made the odd slip up or the context of what you have written has changed slightly. Either way it is vital that you review what you have written and make sure that you have expressed exactly what you intended to, with out serious problems in grammar and punctuation.

Finally, make sure that you have a good keyword enhanced title for your article. When you select the keywords, and after you have read about a topic, researched and written a piece, you should have a good idea how to express what you have written in a succinct manner, and with the maximum usage of the main keywords. You want to be careful that you dont lose the meaning by in cramming in keywords, but if you are going to get the title right then you want to try and insert the keywords into the heading so that they become the primary focus.

So keeping these tips in mind you are ready to know begin writing articles that are well written and have a good balance between keyword content and genuine content that has value for the reader. When you strike the right balance you are well on the way to creating good keyword articles that will strike this balance and be found easily be the search engines.

Additional Steps To Get Your Article Rejected

Posted by Egdcltd in Article Marketing

Here are some more faults I’ve seen with submitted articles that can get them rejected.

Problems With Pen Names

Should you submit your articles to the different article directories available, you will more than likely find that these allow you to have a username, which you use to login, and at least one pen name, which are displayed as the articles author. Now, I’ve noticed a few problems here.

The first problem is usually caused when you already have an account at an article site, then join an article distribution service such as iSnare. The submission service will generate you a new account, and sometimes, if the pen name you use with the submission service is identical to an existing one at the site, you may end up with a blank as the distribution services pen name, as the duplicate is rejected. This means that the ability of search engines to spider your articles is significantly reduced, as there are no links to “Author Details or similar pages. Some directories will decline your article should this happen.

Next, putting your site URL as your pen name is usually not appreciated either, so just don’t do it. In addition, many directories will reject articles written by something other than First Name Last Name, so, although rules do vary from site to site, it’s unlikely that any will object to a pen name of, e.g., “John Smith”, whilst will reject or delete articles by “mysitename.com” or “The Internet Marketer. Just remain with a standard name, even if it’s not your real one, and you will avoid any problems like this.

Poor Use of Article Rewriters

You may not have heard of services such as these, or you may use something along these lines without knowing what it is. There are a number of variants around, but what they all have in common is that they are designed to take an article, and create a number of different versions of it. The differences may be only slight, but the concept is to make a variety of “different” articles to avoid duplicate content filters.

Now, there is nothing wrong with doing this, but there are wrong ways of doing it. If the spinner replaces words or phrases with variations, for example, “In the beginning” could also be phrased as “To start with”, after doing this for an article and producing a number of variants, read each one through to make sure they still make sense. It’s quite easy to produce gibberish if you don’t, and most decent article directories don’t like to publish gibberish. If an article needs tweaking, do so manually. Far better to make sure you spend a bit of time now on the article, then having to fix it after rejection.

Next, if you generate a batch of 20 different articles, submit each article to a different site. Therefore, 20 articles to 20 sites. Or submit them to batches of sites, one article to 10 sites, the next to another 10 and so on. Do not submit all 20 versions to the same directory. That will probably just get them rejected, and you may lose your account for annoying the directory owner.

Submission conditions, and what an article site or directory will accept or reject do change, sometimes fairly substantially, from directory to directory, but if you are cautious, you’ll get much fewer articles rejected.

5 Tips For Recycling Your PLR Articles Into Unique Content

Posted by Bill_miller in Article Marketing

Okay, I know some of you will never think about using PLR articles for content. That’s fine. Most of us who use PLR artices have dozens of Websites or blogs and it’s nearly impossible to write enough content for that many sites by ourselves.

Everyone also knows PLR articles are a great content source for websites and blogs that use Adsense to monetize their sites. They’re also a great source for article marketing.

Maybe you’re like me and found yourself sitting on thousands of PLR articles that had been published by others over and over. There’s no use in republishing these abused articles because its likely a futile attempt due to the perceived notion of a Google duplicate content penalty. (I say perceived because my experiments over the last few months show that authority sites can publish PLR articles and have them indexed and ranked by Google…but that’s another article)

Here are 5 tips I’ve developed for recycling all these old PLR articles I have.

The first method I use is to use an article spinner. There are plenty of spinners out there that will turn any article into gibberish. I don’t want that. I want something that will pass a manual review from a Google employee should there be one. So I use a program called WordFlood. This turns out some very nice articles with little effort.

Mix ‘em up. During one experiment I performed with PLR articles, I took too shorter PLR articles that had the same subject matter and combined them both to make one article. Just cut and pasted one below the other, put a descriptive H3 tag in between to make it look like I was changing the subject and presto! Unique article. I posted a few of these on several of my blogs and they were indexed and ranked just as if I’d wrote the articles myself.

Use snippets. What I did with this technique is that I cut and pasted snippets of several of the PLR articles that were discussing the same subject. A snippet could be a sentence or a whole paragraph. I took several from each PLR article and soon had another unique article all ready for Google to index and rank. And they did!

Have them rewritten. What I’ve been doing for some niches is taking 20 to 30 PLR articles and mixing them up to make 10 to 20 long articles. Long articles rank better. I then have each of these long articles rewritten for $2 a piece. You can find people to rewrite them on DigitalPoint forums and SitePoint. Now I have 10 to 20 more unique articles that have over 1000 words each! By the way, as you become more successful with Internet Marketing, you’ll learn to outsource the boring and mundane chores so you can concentrate on the taks that really make you money! Rewriting PLR articles is one thing I outsource.

Add to the articles. Most PLR articles are short and boring. To add to the word count of your PLR articles and make them more attractive to article directories and ezine publishers, go to GistWeb. If your article is over a subject like Yellow Flowers, just type something like “Yellow Flower Facts” into GistWeb. GistWeb will then show you snippets from various websites about Yellow Flower Fact. Just cut and paste those snippets into your PLR article. Viola! Unique Content!

So instead of letting your PLR articles collect dust on your hard drive, learn how to recycle them and turn them into unique content. It’s not hard and takes minimal time. A whole lot less time than to set down and write a new article and a whole lot cheaper than paying someone to write unique articles for your websites!

Make Money Using Article Marketing To Promote Your Website

Posted by CarolBell in Article Marketing

Most people starting their internet venture will be looking for ways to promote their site for free and the best way to do this is with article marketing. The purpose is for people to find your article, read it and then follow the link to your site from the blog or other place they read it. The best place to submit articles is site where you know they have a great deal of traffic every day; it shouldn’t be too long before your site starts to receive traffic from this. Large, well visited sites are generally trusted so if your content is accepted, it should improve your reputation as well; by improving your standing, you will by default, also improve the level of trust people have for you.

Article marketing carried out regularly can bring fantastic rewards as people begin to see you as an expert in your field. This is why it is so important to show people that you know what you are talking about so they trust the content you provide in the area you write about. Over time the number of links you receive from other high ranking or authority sites will increase your own ranking with Google; as your ranking grows, there will be even more visitors to your site. The simple fact is that the more websites that provide an internal link to your own, the better your ranking will become; all of this comes with no charge so you are actually able to market yourself for free.

Article marketing not only allows links in the body text of the article but in the resource box at the foot of the page. Your article must have good content if you want it placed in many websites because this in turn will link back to your own website which of course will increase the website ranking. Sometimes, however, search engines can take some time before they actually list your site; Google can actually take months on occasion. During this period, the best thing to do is continue submitting your articles to a many popular sites as possible and write more because this can speed the process up.

The content on your website is what brings the search engines and hence visitors so therefore part of your article marketing campaign should be to continually add fresh content to your website. Remember that visitors do not know that your website is trying to get them to buy something. There is no reason why you cannot be truthful about what you are doing once they reach your website provided they have useful information. It is at this point that the sales promotion can be used. It is important they understand why they are buying a product so this process is important. It is this approach that prevents a good many refunds from taking place.

If you continue your article marketing this way you can expect a profitable future; do not think for one minute that this is will be a success if it is only done the once! An additional benefit from writing quality articles is that other website owners will either link to your site or use your articles on their own site; your content or article will have information that other people are seeking. There are no charges to article marketing and is still the number one way to get traffic to your site; all you have to do is ensure your content is ‘on topic’ and unique to have constant visitors.

It Never Hurts To Compare When It Comes To Article Distribution Services

Posted by Tkelly in Article Marketing

You’re done. You’ve just spent a lot of time writing and now you want to get those articles out into cyberspace. You want to make sure you get a reasonable return for your time and energy investment. That return is in traffic back to your website. You’ll only get that traffic if you choose an article distribution service that offers you widespread distribution of your article writing efforts.

What do you look for in an article distribution service? Look for one that deals with a broad list of niche publishers. An article distribution service that charges you a fee to distribute your articles to a small list of niche publishers and article directories is not an article distribution service you want to use. You are better off submitting your articles one at a time on your own to a few dozen publishers instead of paying someone else to do it for you.

However, it’s a different story when it comes to submitting to hundreds and even thousands of content publishers. It’s time consuming to submit articles one at a time to a long list of publishers. You want to devote your time to other affiliate marketing activities. A good article distribution service is an efficient way to run your article promotion campaign.

Let’s take a quick look at three article distribution services out there for their range of distribution. We’ll look at iSnare, SubmitYourArticle, and Article Marketer. These three companies offer different services and different price packages when it comes to article marketing. It’s wise to check out all that an article distribution service has to offer, from custom-writing and quality assurance, to whether they cap how many articles you can submit in a period and the like. Definitely make sure they have a substantial publisher list.

iSnare is capable of submitting your articles to several thousand publishers. They have publishers who are subscribed members to their private list. Depending on your article’s topic and category, you could see your content reach hundreds or thousands of publishers. iSnare sends your articles to niche publishers and article directories and maintains a substantial list.

SubmitYourArticle also offers a broad spectrum of publishers who are hungry for quality content. When you submit an article to their service, they are able to get it distributed to thousands of publishers as well. You can do a blanket submission of one version of your article to a wide range of directories. You can also choose to use a system they have for altering your article slightly so that a different version of it goes to each article directory. It is more time consuming to submit your articles this way however. Again, they have a long list of publishers that are accessible for submitting article content to regularly.

Article Marketer offers the most extensive distribution list. They are also capable of getting quality content out to myriad niche publishers and directories. In addition, they provide an extensive category and sub-category list for their subscribers. This allows you to perform highly targeted article marketing. Having many sub-categories to choose from means you can really pinpoint a niche and tailor your message to that specific niche.

You’re investing a lot of time, energy and money into your affiliate marketing efforts. When it comes to article marketing, make sure those investments pay off. Choose a quality article-distribution service that gets your articles out to as many quality niche publishers and directories as is possible. You need that traffic to your website where your affiliate banners or affiliate products reside. A good article distribution service, with an extensive list of publishers, aids your overall article marketing efforts.

Use Article Marketing And E-Mail Campaigns To Drive Your Business

Posted by Bmcgovern in Article Marketing

In today’s business landscape, it pays to know the various marketing tools available to you for promoting your business. While this is true for any kind of business, it’s especially true for affiliate marketing or any kind of Internet business. The web provides marketing opportunities quite different from traditional marketing methods. Two of these are article marketing and e-mail campaigns. While different animals, they can work together to drive your affiliate business.

With article writing and article distribution via an article distribution service, you get your content out to niche publishers in an efficient manner. This means you get your website and blog links out in an efficient manner as well. For a reasonable fee, a good article promotion campaign gives widespread distribution to select markets of your choosing.

The same goes with an e-mail campaign. An e-mail campaign allows you to perform targeted marketing as well. You have a subscriber list that you send your e-mail content to; from those who have opted-in to a newsletter or other information you offered. This e-mail list consists of subscribers pre-disposed to your affiliate product in the first place. If they weren’t, they would not have signed up to receive information from you. You can now formulate an e-mail campaign that gives them more information about your products and services.

Article marketing and e-mail campaigns allow you to concentrate your efforts on specific niche markets for your affiliate offerings. This is the primary advantage of both of these marketing methods.

Article marketing and e-mail campaigns both allow you to disseminate useful information to your niche markets. Both marketing tools allow you to establish credibility with your niche audience. Both allow you to pre-sell your niches before checking out your website or blog for further product information. E-mail campaigns don’t have to be a blatant sales pitch. Use them to build trust with your readers. Use e-mails to further establish yourself as an authority in your field.

Article marketing and e-mail campaigns both work towards this same end. This purpose is to offer timely, relevant, useful information that makes readers of your content want to do business through or with you.

The disadvantage of e-mail campaigns is the time required to build a list. You’ll need an attractive landing page that entices readers to sign-up for your newsletter or information pack. too. This does not happen overnight. First, you must build traffic to your landing page. Second, you must have a newsletter ready to send to subscribers.

This all entails time and effort on your part. With article marketing, you perform your article writing and article submission activities and you are done. Let the article distribution service you select handle it from there. Get widespread distribution with a good article distribution service with very little effort on your part. With an e-mail campaign, you have to work to build your own unique subscriber list.

Article readers voluntarily access your content. They make a conscious decision to look for it. With an e-mail campaign, you send your content to someone who is not necessarily looking for the content sent. As well, there’s that aversion to unwanted, unsolicited e-mails that many have. You must consider that when mounting an e-mail campaign.

Article marketing and e-mail campaigns can work together, though. Send e-mails to subscribers and invite them to check out your article content. They may want more information on a topic related to your affiliate products. Send links in e-mails to your articles address.

Conversely, use your articles to help build your e-mail subscriber list. This way when you are ready for an e-mail campaign, your list of contacts is ready to go. Use links in your articles to your opt-in page.

Use article marketing and e-mail campaigns together to drive traffic to your business. Take the time to write useful content for each. Use articles to drive people to your site to opt-in. Use your subscriber list to send readers to your articles. It’s a marketing knife that cuts both ways.
