The McCain Tax Reform Plan For Long Term Economic Growth?

Posted by Sanserve in Conservative

The writing is on the wall (street, that is), and it is telling us that we need to reaffirm the United States as the dominant force in the global economy, and that we have to do more to protect our citizens’ retirement and investment programs.

Most economic research suggests that tax code replacement surgery is essential for long-term economic progress. The goal of my plan is to make sure that you are not grumbling ten years from now about the same things that trouble you today. Here’s a fifteen-point plan to end the cycles of economic frustration and global disrespect during this administration:

One. Take Social Security out of the public sector and replace it with a mandatory, deferred, fixed benefit, single-life-annuity program managed by existing annuity providers. Employee contributions would be reduced nearly 50% and employer contributions eliminated over a five-year implementation period— immediately for the self-employed. Participants would have no investment discretion or access to funds until retirement.

Two. Mandate that no less than 50% of all self-directed benefit plan Working Capital be invested in government securities, and not qualified for withdrawal until retirement. Bring all alternative investments (options commodities, futures, hedge funds, etc.) under the purview of the SEC, and subject to the same suitability standards as RIA’s recommendations.

Three. Institute a 3% Federal sales tax on all goods and services purchased by end consumers, but not a VAT. Subsidize a universal basic health care insurance system and public education expenses from sales tax proceeds plus a 5% tax on personal annual income, of any kind, in excess of $5 million dollars. Cap State and Local Sales Taxes at 3%. Eliminate all nuisance taxes in utility bills, hotel room charges, gas prices, etc.

Four. Reform Tort Law at every level, and protect both businesses and individuals from frivolous lawsuits. Adopt a rule of personal responsibility for one’s own stupidity and clumsiness. Submit all product liability, medical malpractice claims, and personal liability lawsuits to qualified arbitration panels instead of juries. Ban class action suits of all kinds and cap jury awards and lawyer compensation at 50% lower average levels.

Five. Eliminate all Estate and Gift Taxes.

Six. Mandate a ten-year term limitation on all members of congress, retroactively, and impose a mandatory retirement age on Supreme Court Justices. Reduce taxpayer compensated congressional staff by 50%.

Seven. Simplify the Internal Revenue Code by adopting a Fair Tax of 10% for all persons with annual employment income above $40,000. Eliminate all forms of tax deferral and stock option programs that are not available proportionately to every company employee. State and local income taxes would be capped at a flat 4% for family incomes above $80,000. Individual tax avoidance schemes would also be banned— 10 years retroactively.

Eight. Abolish all taxation on any form of retirement income.

Nine. Abolish all taxation on any form of investment income, including rents, royalties, interest, dividends, and capital gains. Increase the federal sales tax by 2% once numbers 8 and 9 have been implemented.

Ten. Eliminate the Corporate Income Tax and create auditing entities to assure that the savings translate into new jobs, higher salaries for non minimum wage employees, lower product prices, and higher shareholder dividends.

Eleven. Appoint federal supervisors to the Board of Directors of public corporations paying annual salaries in excess of $3 million. Board members, corporate attorneys, and financial officers would be required to allocate any performance incentive compensation on a dollar-for-dollar basis to all employees, including part timers but excluding minimum wage recipients.

Twelve. Examine the economic impact of Government Regulation and oversight in many industries, particularly small business practitioners in personal services fields. Provide an arbitration and review system to identify and control abuses of regulatory power and a separate department within each agency to deal with small businesses.

Thirteen. Reduce government staff in all departments and at all levels by at least 10% per year for the next three to five years. Reduce by 50% the number of Government jobs filled by presidential appointment.

Fourteen. Reduce all import tariffs to zero for countries that reciprocate and who insure the quality of their exports.

Fifteen. Establish a catastrophic relief fund for victims of all forms of natural disaster throughout the USA.

In all instances, regulatory services will be needed to assure implementation consistent with the intent of the new code. Any person or entity that takes advantage of loopholes in the new rules, or manipulates normal operations to match new definitions will be fined. Their legal and tax advisors, if involved, will be responsible for 60% of the fine.

The plan outlined here is investor and economy friendly. Where jobs are lost, new entities will be needed, based on the premise that regulated capitalism can work well. As shoppers and homeowners, as retirees and employees, as business owners and investors, this is the reform plan we need.

Is for real? It could be. Investors represent the biggest voting block in the country. We could elect the next president, change the tax code, fix Social Security, and strengthen the economy. If only we weren’t the most apathetic group of people on the planet. As investors, we want less government, lower taxes, and purposeful regulation. We want laws that aid economic freedoms, and lawmakers and judges who facilitate it.

Survey Question: Would you vote for the person with the guts to propose this plan?

John McCain Is In For A Rough Ride

Posted by Politicallore in Conservative

The biggest news so far this election, is former front runner Mitt Romney dropping out of the race. Where will this lead the country? Will Huckabee or Ron Paul step up and seriously challenge John McCain, or will the party just join together to beat the democrats?

The longer Obama and Hillary are attacking each other the better it is for the republicans…

What is the only problem? John McCain just does not appeal to the conservative base like Mitt Romney did. I am finding myself hard pressed to believe that the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, and Jay Severn will have an easy time throwing their support behind John McCain.

These people, along with most serious republicans, are not just going to support John McCain. John McCain is an independent and is very far from a conservative. Then again, are these not the folks that supported George W. Bush the second go around, and then regretted it?

The American people are faced with, perhaps an election for the “lesser of two evils”. The question is, are the American people willing to go through another 2004? If they are not, which I don’t assume they are, there will be many independents running for President this year.

These events could and just may, change the way we know politics. The American people’s anger is at an all time high, and no longer will they just side with somebody just because they hate the other more. The republican’s whole campaign has been run on two things… 9/11 and beating Hillary.

We all found out how good running on a 9/11 was, it just didn’t site well with the American people. Eventually, John McCain will find himself at a loss if he continues to push the “safety” factor. Hillary Clinton could sure as hell beat him in that, thanks to her husband. Really, John McCain only has one card, and that is that America hates Hillary.

If Hillary wins the democratic nomination, I really feel going one on one with John McCain, she would win over Americas love.

John McCain better get geared up to get hurt… the Ron Paul revolution will attack! John McCain will be fighting a movement that few can explain, a movement that John McCain is against. I truly believe that Rudy Giuliani’s campaign was crippled by Ron Paulites.

At this point, few can actually say that Ron Paul could beat John McCain for the republican nomination. This will truly anger the half of million plus, Americans that support Ron Paul’s ideas. John McCain, even if Ron Paul doesn’t run in a third party, will be fighting Ron Paul’s movement all the way up until November.

John McCain can argue all he wants with the idea that he is better for America than Hillary Clinton; but he is going to have a difficult time if he is fighting for a conservative name, while still appealing to the masses. This election, mark my words, will be divided bitterly… The Libertarian party, and possibly the Constitution Party will rise out of the ashes and will be a huge spoiler. These two parties will cripple John McCain’s only playing card.

What Does L.I.A.R. Stand For And How Will It Affect The 2008 Presidential Elections?

Posted by Kingjohn34 in Conservative

In the past few years our elected Republicans have completely turned away from Conservative principles and have actually promoted Liberal doctrine. We have seen this in the out-of-control spending and unjustified beliefs in junk science and more government control of our lives. What was once a Republican election victory through the, “Contract with America” concept has now become the Death Warrant of the same Party.

The question is why? Why did the Republicans who lost all of these seats go south on the Conservative principles that made this country so great? I have surmised of a plan and I call this the L.I.A.R. Conspiracy.

L.I.A.R. is an anagram for, “Liberal Imitating A Republican”. There are many L.I.A.R.s in and out of office. What has happened is that after the Contract with America booted the Liberals out of control of Congress they realized that the American people have grown tired with their agenda of more Government Control, Entitlements, Waste, Taxes and Spending. Yet because this is who they are they found themselves in a conundrum. They cannot change nor will they ever try to. Big Government and controlling the American people is their core.

So that, I suggest was when this plan was hatched. First they had to use their only ally to help convince the seated Republicans that despite what elections represent, the people want Liberal actions. Want to make a Republican vote on a bill that lacks Conservative values? Then get the mainstream media to run a poll that is slanted for the bill. Run constant news stories that portray the People as wanting this piece of legislature enacted. Hammer it home often enough and eventually it becomes fact.

This is pure brainwashing in its basic sense and the Republicans fell into the lies without a second thought. If you doubt this scenario, go back to the 2006 elections and see what the real truth was among all the American voters.

Yet still, Republican voters would never choose any Democrat over a Conservative. That is where the Democrats really snuffed the Republican brainwash victims. They all ran as Democrats with Conservative principles. They portrayed themselves as being more Conservative than the seated Republicans who were going nuts acting as Liberals. It was a slam-dunk victory for the Democrats and their mass media cohorts. The only Republicans who saved their “seats” were those who held on to Conservative values or were those who I have dubbed, the L.I.A.R.s.

One way that you can pretty easily tell who a L.I.A.R. is, is just by looking at who the Democrat party runs against them. As an example, John McCain has four times won his seat by running against an oddball ex-state legislator in 1986, an impeached ex-governor and civil rights activist in 1992, an environmental lawyer in 1998, and an 8th grade math teacher in 2004. These are not what can be called serious Democrat challengers, can they?

The fact is that if the DNC felt that McCain is a threat that needs to be removed one would think they could find a real political “Rock Star” to run against him. It can easily be deduced that McCain is viewed as one of their own even though he is currently a Republican. Shoot, McCain is so Liberal that John Kerry wanted him as a running mate BEFORE John Edwards.

When asked about the “Ticking Bomb Threat”, he stated that, (paraphrase) “there is no way at any time and under any circumstance when torture should be used by America because it would lessen us in the eyes of the world”. That statement in itself would violate the Presidential Oath of Office.

Because the Oath plainly states that the President will defend the Constitution (and its Preamble does call for the Common Defense). Thus, allowing thousands or millions of Americans to die just to save face with the world is a direct violation of the Oath of Office. As well as one of the most profound statements of absurdity ever blabbed by a Presidential candidate.

As a matter of fact, I am a lifelong Republican and yet like Ann Coulter, I will vote for Hillary if McCain wins the GOP. I write that because once Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid pretty much drives this country into a shambles the GOP would win back both houses within two years of her reign and leave her as a lame duck for the last two. I can only hope and pray we don’t suffer another terrorist attack while they foolishly rule.

Better still, if McCain wins the nomination ALL Conservatives need to sit this one out and watch him take a fall. Then perhaps the other L.I.A.R.s in the party will understand that those who are not Republicans are no longer welcomed in the GOP.

Besides, if McCain were to become President I’d be scared to death about what he will do when pushed by some other country like Iran or North Korea. The guy scares me more than that lunatic Greg Stillson in the Dead Zone. “The missiles are flying. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!”

Abortion: Legalized Child Sacrifice On The Altar Of Humanism

Posted by 1richmom in Conservative

How ironic is it that millions of babies are murdered every year in the name of human rights? How is it that we, Americans especially, proudly call ourselves sophisticated and cultured while continuing to worship in the temple of humanism?

Humanism is a god — little “g”. It is lustful and insatiable. Humanism is deceptive in its premise and destructive in its course. Humanism is powerful enough to convince you that life is not life, death is not death, and that education and culture make you impervious to both of them. Humanism is a spirit that demands the daily and unrepentant slaughter of innocent lives while simultaneously singing “Kumbaya” and seeking world peace.

If you are pro-choice, you should be crystal clear about one thing, abortion is murder. And, pre-meditated at that. Period. Individuals have spent their respective lifetimes in prison over less. The only difference between you and someone on death row is one thing, the law. I dare you to try and explain pro-choice to a convicted murderer. They will most likely find your argument laughable. I’m sure many of them would love to know how to write a law to justify their unjustifiable behavior. You don’t want criminals living among you, but you want to engage in criminal behavior. Not criminal, you say? Oh, legal. Forgive me. Legalized child sacrifice rather than criminal child sacrifice. Like I said, the only difference is that you’ve got the law on your side.

At the heart of the lie that “abortion is okay because it’s legal” are two very simple concepts:

1. It’s not a baby.
2. It’s my body.

Let’s clear that up, shall we?

In order for something, anything, to be born, it must be alive to begin with. Life does not evolve from death. Life is a force unto itself that has the power to create and sustain. Death on the other hand, well, you get the picture. The ovum and the sperm are alive inside the contributing parties which means that any resulting offspring is not dead at its genesis, but very much alive. Possibly even more alive than you are, but at no point, less alive than you. Unlike a Chia Pet which has to be seeded and watered to grow, human development in utero is precipitated and facilitated by the force of life. Therefore, life has to always be present in that process, which is exactly the reason women get abortions, to interrupt life. There’s a name for that choice, it’s called murder. “It’s not a baby”…case closed.

As for the body bit, it’s not your body and it never will be. The spirit of humanism - worship of all things human including self - dictates such a belief. However, just for the sake of argument, stop reading this for a moment (if you can find the strength to put it down) and try this. Stop breathing until you die, then, bring yourself back to life. If you can do this, Congratulations! You are GOD. If you cannot do it, or if the thought of trying makes you weak in the knees, you’ve just gotten only a small taste of how much control you don’t have over “your” body. If it’s your body and you have so much control over it, then tell it not to get pregnant when you have promiscuous and unprotected sex. But, don’t exact your revenge on underdeveloped, defenseless, and innocent human lives; they can’t help it if they wound up with you as a mother.

The United States of America can count herself among the nations that is proud to legally practice child sacrifice. Yippee! For the record, did you know that in the Old Testament entire nations were wiped out for this very reason? What makes the USA so special? Nothing really. We will face the same judgment unless we get the abortion issue right, which means making abortion legally wrong. And, all of this while we whine about children working in foreign sweat shops making a penny a week.

In a day and age when “The Secret” is touted as an original compilation of universal wisdom, America should be universally recognized and, in fact, is recognized as a perpetual violator of every universal law by virtue of silent acts of complicity with regard to abortion. I sacrificed one of my own children on the altar of humanism many years ago, and I swore never to let it happen again. My healing and recovery, spirit, soul, and body, was long and often agonizing. For the most part, I was entirely oblivious to the fact that some critical issues in my life were manifesting as a result of that single act.

If you, however, still want to participate in this abominable national ritual either by observation or participation, like a bully beating up on the new kid, any inferred reference entirely intentional, take my advice and pick on someone your own size. Death row has a cell with your name on it.
