Luxury Begins With Lingerie

Posted by Xxzombiesxx in Women's Issues

All too many people view undergarments as just something to throw on underneath their clothes. Perhaps this is due to training received as children, when your parents would just pick anything that looked comfortable for you to wear, and nothing else really mattered. While this is perfectly fine at that age, as we grow older, we should grow out of those habits as well, and try to explore new things. You wouldn’t still want to wear pajamas with feet attached to them, or a cute outfit that perfectly matches what your sibling is wearing, now would you?

As adults, we sometimes also have a tendency to focus on luxury in the form of a nice apartment, a flashy car, designer clothes, or evenings out at expensive restaurants. While all these things are undeniably important, what lies beneath those designer clothes should be of no less importance to us. If you consider that underwear is the foundation of our entire outfit, and often sets the tone for things to come, you may get a better understanding of the point I’m trying to make.

We may then further consider what we want that tone to be. Do you want to feel sexy and chic? Comfortable and free? Bold, with an undeniable air of confidence? What can you wear to generate these feelings within you?

Cotton panties are perfect for a casual day - A lazy Sunday. An Autumn drive through the country. Going out for a walk. They work wonderfully with your loose fitting jeans and your comfortable shirts.

For something more formal - A dinner party. Going out dancing. Taking in a show. These really beg for something more elegant to be worn both in the way of outerwear, and underneath it as well. You could try a nice bra and panties matching set, for instance. As far as fabrics go, imagine the feel of satin, smooth against your skin or the wonderful luxury of pure silk. Just slipping these on first will set a sensual, sexy tone to everything else. You’ll feel more confident, more headstrong, because you started with a foundation that sets your mood as such.

When we begin to see underwear as more than just something to put on first, and instead as something that can change our mood and effect the way we go about our day, we can start to happily experiment even more. If you’re used to full-back panties, how will a thong make you feel? Sexy, and sure of yourself, or just uncomfortable? Although if your answer is the latter, I would caution you to try different kinds of thongs and give yourself a chance to get used to wearing them before you make up your mind. Similarly, if you’re used to wearing thongs all the time, how might you feel in those full-backed cotton panties for a day?

Just to be clear, we’re not talking about impressing other people here. This is something more important - you, the way you feel about yourself, and the actions you take because of it. It doesn’t matter if you’re the only one who knows what you’re wearing underneath that dress. It makes no difference if that’s the way it’s going to stay for the foreseeable future either. What matters is you.

Just as a building needs a strong foundation on which to build upon if it’s to stand properly, you need a strong and fitting foundation as well. So, the next time you think about luxury items and what fun thing you may treat yourself to next, consider that most forgotten of the luxury item - fine lingerie. Because what you wear really is important, and the right choice could just change your whole outlook, and the way you go about your day.

How To Buy Sexy Lingerie

Posted by Xxzombiesxx in Women's Issues

Buying sexy and exotic lingerie should be treated with a sense of adventure. You should go beyond what is normal for you, something that would excite both you and your partner. Anything sexy and out of the ordinary would be a good place to start. If you are trying to spice up your sex life, be daring and don’t be shy.

The idea behind buying and wearing exotic lingerie is the notion that you seek adventure in the bedroom, and want to create fireworks from flames that have died down. Or simply to enter a fantasy world that you wish to explore.

There are many ways to go when shopping for the right outfit. Would you rather start by fulfilling a fantasy that your lover has whispered into your ear, or by surprising him with your own dreams of adventure. If you are afraid to show off your body, the right lingerie will help silhouette and showcase your assets and can distract from the areas that you wish to hide.

Some suggestions I can offer to you:

You can think of it as Halloween, and you are getting dressed up for fun, because it is for fun, and it will be more exciting to think of sexy lingerie as costumes. You are simply playing a role for the evening and can quickly change back to your normal self. But while you are in the costume, you are transported into another world, a fantasy world. Where you can have your most deepest desires. Buying anything from a simple white or black teddy to something sheer, leaving little to the imagination. Or you can wear something with a little flair, with ruffles and lots of lace.

Role-playing can be part of it if you are daring enough. Costumes such as a nurse, or a police officer can always be fun. Create a little story for yourself and for him to be engaged in. Men love to be shocked and seduced. Try to think of something wild that would turn him on. Or better yet, think of something that would turn YOU on. Men love the idea that the woman is excited and that in itself would enhance the experience for them as well. Men are not as difficult as they may seem.

Color is very important. Think of a color you would not normally wear. Maybe you are afraid to wear fire red or hot pink. Think about how your skin tone would look juxtaposed to the color of the lacy lingerie. If you are fair skinned, black lace may frame your figure. Or if you have a tan or darker complexion, a pure white will make your skin look full. Be daring and go for a strong color.

Even if you are playing innocent, take control of the situation and present him with something he can’t refuse. It’s your chance to put your sexual prowess on display for him to worship. Be confident and wear it feeling proud of your body.

And if you still feel you are not daring enough to wear something shocking and super sexy. Start off by being more subtle, try something not so revealing, just pick something a little different from your everyday under garments. And believe me, he will take notice. But if you feel you have it in you for the adventure, or just to celebrate a special occasion, my advice is to go for it and be as daring as you can think of. But always leave them wanting more.

Seduction is the game, you are only limited by your fantasies, so go play.

Postpartum Relaxation Tips For New Mothers

Posted by Vp325ica95 in Women's Issues

Even new mothers need time for themselves and between trying to get in some postpartum exercises and taking care of your new baby you sometimes forget that you need to nurture yourself as well. You need to relax in addition to getting plenty of rest and exercise, but relaxing doesn’t have to mean sitting down all of the time. Relaxing simply means taking a break from the chores of being a mother for just a little while to replenish yourself.

Easier said than done? Sometimes, but there is no rule book or child rearing manual that states you have to be on duty twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, especially the first few months of your babies life when babies are the most demanding. You need a break as well and its all right to ask someone you trust if they would watch the baby for a few hours so you can indulge in a long postpartum relaxation session of your own. Depending on how you gave birth and if you are cleared by your doctor, that relaxation session could be a long soak in the tub, a professional massage, or just a trip to the salon to get your hair and nails done.

Take The Time To Really Think About Your Postpartum Life:

Stop and contemplate on the things you used to love to do before you got pregnant. What made you feel good? What fulfilled your day? What can you work back into your now slightly more hectic schedule of feedings, laundry, and other daily chores that you do? Once you figure that out, find a way to do them again. Start out with one and see how it works out. For example, if you loved to write or journal, spend ten or fifteen minutes of your baby’s nap to do that. It may not be as intricate or detailed as what you used to do, but you feel good about yourself when you do it and that is the main focus.

Get The Family Involved In Order To Get Your Postpartum Time In:

Postpartum relaxation could be aided by having someone help out around the house doing some of the things you simply hate, such as the dishes, dusting, cooking and laundry. If you’re really lucky, you can get your significant other to do it. Otherwise, look into hiring a maid and or taking up a friend on their offer of ‘if there is anything I can do call me’. Go out and have a good time with your significant other and leave the baby with someone you trust. If there is not a significant other call a friend or family member to spend some time with.

The idea behind postpartum relaxation is to have some ‘me’ time. Don’t feel guilty about it. By being able to pamper and indulge yourself, you will become stressed and the smallest thing will make it worse. If you are going to be a working mom, those first few months spending time with your new baby will mean everything to you. Children, even newborns, can pick up on your stress levels. Be stress free for both you and your baby. You’ll both be much happier.

Stress Relieving Post Partum Exercises

Posted by Vp325ica95 in Women's Issues

In addition to postpartum exercise, every new mother should learn a few relaxation techniques to help them stay sharp, focused, and relaxed. When you as a mother feel at the top of your form, you will find that you are more loving, more attentive to you child, and very easy-going. It is important that you relieve stress because even a newborn baby can pick up on your tension.

Set Aside Postpartum Self-Time:

The first thing you need to do is set a time out of each day to be able to do some postpartum exercises and some stress relief exercises. You could combine them by joining a relaxing yet invigorating Tai Chi or Yoga class, or you could do them at different times during the day.

If you do not wish to leave your baby or have no one to watch them for you, purchase an exercise DVD that you can exercise to while your child is napping or sitting in the bouncy seat or swing where you can easily keep and eye on them.

Stress relieving relaxation exercises are designed to relax your muscles and lower your blood pressure. It should invoke calmness of your emotions and make your body feel light, not heavy with stress. Meditation and deep breathing exercises are simple to learn, but they take time to master.

Even if you attempt them for only five minutes a day, you are learning to reduce the stress in your life. This is one of the reasons Yoga is so popular. It helps you train your mind to meditate, you learn to breathe properly, and the exercises move your body and make you use your muscles.

Postpartum exercises allow the body to release chemicals called endorphins. This substance is produced naturally in our bodies and they act as stimulants. When they are released, they give you a natural high. Moving, even if it is just taking a walk, releases endorphins. The more you move, however, the more you release. Aerobics is a good way to get the heart pumping, shape the body, and release endorphins. If you have ever taken an aerobics class, think about how good you felt afterwards.

You Have Plenty Of Options For Postpartum Stress Relief:

Other stress relieving postpartum exercises can include taking a hike on a nature trail, swimming, playing a sport that you enjoy, or simply go out for a day of pampering on the days you do not participate in physical activity. The beauty of postpartum exercises is twofold - stress relief and help in reshaping your body. Remember, there is nothing that says your exercising has to be highly physical.

Whatever your particular stress relief exercise is, make sure you always stretch to loosen and warm up your muscles, especially if this is the first time since you’ve had the baby. You do not want to get muscle cramps or cause damage to your body. That is the fastest way to discourage you. Put on some appropriate music and let yourself go with the flow and watch all your stress wash away for awhile.

For Help With Pre & Postpartum Depression - Pay Close Attention To Your Feelings, And Ask For Help

Posted by Vp325ica95 in Women's Issues

Prenatal and postpartum depression is very hard for many mothers to understand and deal with. They are getting set to or have brought a brand new life into the world and no matter how joyous it is they cannot shake feeling blue. While some emotional turmoil is to be expected during this certain time - face it, your hormones have been seriously out of whack for nine months - it should even back out within two weeks of giving birth. Unfortunately, some women’s emotions do not even out and help is needed to defeat the melancholy that is sweeping over them. But don’t worry this is something many women deal with after the birth of their child so you are never alone.

If you, or someone close to you, notice that your depression has lasted longer than it should, then you could be suffering from postpartum depression. This condition affects up to twenty percent of new mothers and the symptoms and affliction can actually occur up to one year after having your baby. If you are suffering from some of the following symptoms, you may want to speak to your doctor: insomnia; crying for no reason; sadness; change in appetite; withdrawal from friends, family and pleasurable activities; panic attacks; suicidal and negative thoughts.

Be Creative In Your Approach To Pre & Post Partum Depression:

There are ways to cope with postpartum depression in addition to whatever your doctor prescribes. Postpartum exercise is very good to help with depression and if you are not up to strenuous activities, look into a Yoga or Tai Chi class. Go outside for a long stroll with your baby and get some fresh air. It’s amazing what some sunshine and fresh air can do for a person’s spirits. Talk to people you trust, people who care about you. Share how you are feeling with a good friend or your significant other. Don’t keep it all inside. You need all the support you can get while dealing with your raging emotions.

Sometime exercise is the best medicine and going to an exercise class can help you deal with the blues you are feeling. It will also help you regain the figure you had before you got pregnant. Moving around will also help raise your metabolism and get your blood pumping. Postpartum exercise will allow your hormone levels to come back to normal levels which will ease the ‘baby blues’ that you have been experiencing.

No matter what happens or how you are feeling, never think that you are a bad mother. This is furthest thing from the truth. While you may be blue and sad, you may notice that when you hold your baby some of those feeling lessen. You need to make sure that occasionally you have to come first. Ask for help. Treat yourself to something you enjoy. Get out and get moving. Sleep when you can and follow a good diet. Make sure you also listen to your doctor’s advice and within no time, postpartum depression will simply be a memory and you’ll be yourself again.

Postpartum Meditation For The New Mother

Posted by Vp325ica95 in Women's Issues

When a new baby comes into your life you are lucky you know which end is up. Your body is changing yet again and your hormones are adjusting to their proper levels. You may even experience a bout of postpartum depression. Most of the young women who do experience depression have never dealt with it before. This is where postpartum meditation exercises come in handy. Regardless of whether you are experiencing depression or not, you will find meditating very relaxing and refreshing.

Postpartum Meditation Is A Great Addition To Your Postpartum Exercise Routine:

Meditation has been known to bring back your energy and help you sleep. You only need twenty minutes a day, twice a day, to relax and clear you mind completely. Your baby can pick up on your tension so it is advisable for you to be able to clear the tension and stress from you body and mind.

As you relax and let the negative energy that has built up in your body disperse, you will begin to feel refreshed. Meditation doesn’t require you to believe in any specific religion of faith. It simply requires you to relax and get in touch with your own natural rhythms and inner self. These postpartum meditation exercises help you find the feminine power all women possess.

Meditating does not require any special classes and there is no right or wrong way to perform it. Do not force anything to happen and do not over-analyze what is going on in your mind. Also, don’t try to blank your mind. With minimal distractions you will be able to slip into a place of quiet solitude that will refresh your body and soul. Turn off your television. Take your phone off the hook. Put on some very soothing music that is conducive to meditating. Simply be with yourself.

To start performing these postpartum meditation exercises, find a comfortable place to sit, using pillows for your buttocks, lower back and legs if need be. Sit with back straight and place your hands in a comfortable position. You do not need to sit in a lotus position or with your thumb and forefingers together. Just sit comfortably. Take and release a few deep breaths slowly and envision you mind and heart opening up to let out all the negativity that has built up within you. This helps the oxygen flow easily through your body and puts you in touch with whatever spiritual energy you wish to feel.

From there, concentrate on your breathing with you eyes closed. After a few moments, picture an object in your mind that you like, such as a flower, or a kitten. While breathing keep that image in your mind. The more you concentrate on it, the more you will see the image in your mind until you suddenly feel the tension fade with the images. The object of postpartum meditation is to let the tension slip away no matter what.

Postpartum meditation exercises can help you sleep better, improve your overall mood, and reduce your stress levels dramatically. Take your time perfecting your meditation and let it help you refresh your own being. By doing so your new baby will have the best mother you can be.
